The Grand Canyon is over 300 miles long, and the park is at the eastern end. So approaching from the west, I flew alongside the canyon for over an hour before reaching the airport near the park.
The town of Tusayan; a few hotels; and the park visitor center. The airport is about where the road goes out of sight.
